We are always looking for ways to add healthy extras to our treats, and a small bit of bone flour (6%) adds calcium!
We use natural culture in our treats as a natural preservative. Those cultures require a small bit of sugar or they actually quit doing their job. We would never use white sugar in any of your dogs' treats so we decided that molasses is a natural unprocessed sugar that is actually healthy for dogs. The amount is very small (2 cups per 66kg of Pawperette meat) and exists only for the cultures.
